Spicy Potato Wedges And Crisps With A Creamy Dip

Ingredients
- 500g medium baking potatoes, cut into wedges e.g. Estima or Marfona
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp sweet chilli sauce
- Large bag ready salted crisps
- ¼ tsp hot chilli powder
For the dip
- 3 tbsp cream cheese
- 2 tbsp crème fraîche
- 1 tbsp milk
- Salt and pepper
- 1 tbsp freshly chopped chives
Method
- Place the potato wedges in a bowl and add the oil and chilli sauce. Stir well until evenly coated. Transfer to a baking sheet and bake for 45 minutes or until the potato wedges are tender.
- Meanwhile, shake the crisps and chilli powder together.
- Combine all the dip ingredients together and serve with the potato wedges and crisps.
TIP:
If really short of time, use either ready prepared frozen or chilled potato wedges and coat in the sweet chilli sauce and bake for 20 minutes or according to the instructions on the pack. Also ready-made dips can be used to save on time.
